    Abstract

    Skripsi dengan judul “Korelasi Antara Motivasi Belajar Dengan Kemampuan Siswa Dalam Mata Pelajaran Teknik Kerja Bengkel Di SMK Negeri 4 Bandung” merupakan penelitian kuantitatif kategori survei dengan metode korelasi yang dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas X jurusan Teknik Audio Video (TAV) di SMK Negeri 4 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan kemampuan siswa ditinjau dari aspek kognitif pada mata pelajaran Teknik Kerja Bengkel (TKB) serta mengetahui seberapa besar nilai hubungan motivasi siswa baik secara intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik dengan kemampuan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran TKB. Aspek motivasi intrinsik yang diteliti berupa minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran TKB, durasi kegiatan untuk meluangkan waktu belajar, dan keuletan dalam menghadapi kesulitan. Aspek motivasi ekstrinsiknya berupa keaktifan dalam kelas, kesiapan, kreatifitas, ketekunan, perilaku dalam kelas, dan kehadiran dikelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, penyebaran angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan kemampuan siswa, kemudian diketahui bahwa motivasi intrinsik lebih besar pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan siswa daripada motivasi ekstrinsik, dan persentase nilai kontribusi motivasi belajar siswa dengan kemampuan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran TKB sebesar 25% dan sisanya senilai 75% ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor lain.

    Thesis entitled "Correlation Between Learning Motivation With Capabilities Students In Engineering Work Stations In SMKN 4 Bandung" is a quantitative research category of survey with correlation method in class X Engineering Audio Video (TAV) in SMKN 4 Bandung academic year 2014/2015. This research aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between learning motivation and ability of students in terms of cognitive aspects of Engineering Work Station (TKB) and find out how much value the relationship of student motivation both intrinsic and extrinsic with learning ability of students in TKB. Intrinsic motivation aspects studied in the form of student interest towards TKB, duration of activity to take the time to learn, and perseverance of adversity. Aspects extrinsic motivation in the form of activity in the classroom, readiness, creativity, perseverance, classroom behavior, and attendance in class. Data was collected by interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed that a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and ability of the students, then it is known that intrinsic motivation is greater influence on the student's ability rather than extrinsic motivation, and the percentage of students motivation contribution with students learning abilities in subjects TKB is 25 % and the rest is worth 75 % is determined by other factors.
