    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment menggunakan desain matching only pretest-postest design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Darangdan Kabupaten Purwakarta pada kelas VIII, dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster random sampling. Kelas eksperimen diberi pembelajaran berbasis proyek, sedangkan kelas kontrol diberi pembelajaran praktikum. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal esai terbuka keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif, data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 21 for windows. Kelas Eksperimen memberikan hasil yang lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dengan perbedaan yang signifikan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis (gkritis = 0.46) dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif (gkreatif = 0.43) dibanding kelas kontrol (gkritis = 0.29 and gkreatif = 0.27) pada α = 0,05. Hasil dari angket siswa menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat lebih meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. The purpose of this research was analyzed of Project-based Learning to critical and creative thinking skills of junior high school students. The quasi experiment was designed by matching only pretest-posttest design. This study was conducted at SMPN 1 Darangdan in Purwakarta suburban in two eighth grade which selected randomly. The Project-based Learning as designed the experimental class while another class using practical instruction as the control class. Data were collected by open-ended test to assess students critical and creative thinking skills, and than were analyzed by SPSS 21 for windows. The experimental class was showed better than control class and there were significantly difference between critical thinking skill (gcritical = 0,46) and creative thinking skill (gcreative = 0,43) which compared to control class (gcritical = 0,29 and gcreative = 0,27) at α = 0.05. The questionairs were presented a better result of Project-based Learning on critical and creative thinking skills.
