Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran 
berbasis adventure game dengan model Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) 
pada mata kuliah Struktur Data. Pembuatan multimedia ini 
dilatarbelakangi oleh Mata kuliah struktur data yang dianggap abstrak 
dan membutuhkan visualisasi nyata. Metode yang digunakan dalam 
mencapai tujuan penelitian ini adalah metode Research and 
Development (R&D) dan prosedur penelitian Siklus Hidup 
Menyeluruh. Tahap pengembangan multimedia ini meliputi tahap 
analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan penilaian. Pada 
tahap analisis data diperoleh dari wawancara dengan dosen pengampu 
mata kuliah struktur data dan angket mahasiswa yang sudah 
mengontrak mata kuliah struktur data. Kemudian pada tahap desain 
dilakukan perancangan flowchart, storyboard, DFD, kamus data, dan 
PSPEC. Tahap selanjutnya adalah tahap pengembangan, pada tahap 
ini multimedia dibangun kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli 
materi, serta diujicobakan kepada mahasiswa yang telah mengontrak 
mata kuliah struktur data. Hasil validasi dan uji coba dapat dilihat 
melalui angket penilaian. Adapun hasil dari angket tersebut adalah : 1) 
multimedia yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan dengan 
presentase 87% dari ahli media dan 78,75% dari ahli materi yang 
dikategorikan sangat baik, 2) penilaian mahasiswa terhadap 
multimedia yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat baik dengan presentase 93,07%. ---------- The research’s purpose is to design anda develop learning multimedia 
based on adventure game with Means-Ends Analysis model on Data 
Structure subject. This multimedia design and development is based 
on the assumption of student who took data structure subject. Student 
assumed data structure as abstract and hard to understand subject so 
that it is needed to be visualized. Method for porposed research is 
Research and Development (RnD) methode and full life cycle research 
procedure. Multimedia development phase consist of analysis phase, 
design, development, implementation, and assessment. On analysis 
phase, data is obtained from interviews to related lecturers and 
questionnaire from student who already took data structure subject. 
Then, on the design phase, flowchart, storyboard, DFD, data 
dictionary, and PSPEC is designed. Next phase is development phase, 
in this phase multimedia is developed and validated by media experts 
and material’s subject expert, and tested by student who have already 
took data structure subject. Validation and test result can be seen by 
assessment questionnaire. The questionnaire result is : 1) multimedia 
design is stated qualified to implement with 87% presentage from 
media experts and 78,75% presentage from material’s subject expert 
which categorized very good. 2) Student’s assessment to multimedia 
design is in very good categorized with 93,07% presentage.
