Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah matematis khususnya siswa SMK. Pada penelitian ini akan diungkap perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan flash dengan konvensional. Instrument penelitian ini terdiri atas seperangkat tes kemampuan komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah matematis. Desain penelitiannya Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Kedua kelas diberikan pretes-postes mengenai kemampuan komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah matematis.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa yang menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan flash peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswanya secara signifikan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. ---------- This study was based on a lack of communication skills and problem -solving mathematical problems , especially vocational high school students . This research will be revealed differences in improvement of communication skills and mathematical problem solving among students who received problem-based learning with flash –assisted and conventional learning. The research instrument consists of a set of tests communication skills and mathematical problem solving. Research design is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The control class and experiment class are given a pretest - posttest regarding communication skills and problem-solving mathematical. Results showed students who apply flash -assisted problem-based learning have improvement of communication and problem-solving capabilities in mathematical are significantly better than students who use regular learning .
