Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model AWK yang dapat mengungkap ideologi feminisme dalam pengkajian wacana dan dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa menganalisis wacana berideologi feminisme. Penelitian dilakukan melalui dua tahapan. Pada tahapan pertama, peneliti melakukan pengkajian terhadap dwilogi novel Saman dan Larung menggunakan pola AWK hasil modifikasi model AWK Darma, dan berorientasi pada teori feminis Chafetz. Dari hasil pengkajian, model AWK dipadukan dengan hasil studi literatur, kurikulum, dan karakteristik mahasiswa, peneliti merancang bahan ajar berbentuk buku, silabus, panduan kegiatan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi. Pada tahapan kedua, dilakukan uji coba untuk menilai keefektifan model AWK dan bahan ajarnya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pengkajian wacana dengan menerapkan rancangan-rancangan yang telah disusun pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Bale Bandung angkatan 2011-2012 berjumlah 39 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif (mixed method). Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar. Untuk membandingkan kemampuan mahasiswa pada pretest dan posttest digunakan uji-t. Dari tahapan pertama penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa model AWK berlandaskan tiga elemen spesifik teori feminis Chafetz cukup efektif untuk melakukan pengkajian ideologi feminisme dalam dwilogi novel Saman dan Larung. Adapun hasil dari tahapan kedua bahwa perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran pengkajian wacana menggunakan model AWK Ideologi Feminisme dan bahan ajarnya telah terukur dengan hasil cukup baik berdasarkan kriteria komponen kegiatan pembelajaran, yaitu tujuan, bahan, metode, media, pendekatan, dan evaluasi. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai thitung (13,682) > ttabel (2,021) dalam df=38, berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan mahasiswa menganalisis wacana berideologi feminisme sebelum diberi perlakuan dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian direkomendasikan bahwa model AWK Ideologi Feminisme dan bahan ajarnya dapat digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran pengkajian wacana sastra dan media wacana lainnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa menganalisis wacana berideologi feminisme.---------- The aim of this research is to develop the critical analysis discourse model which can reveal the ideology of Feminism in examining discourse and which can be used in teaching and learning activity to improve students' ability in analyzing the ideology of Feminism discourse. The research is done through two steps. The First step, the researcher examines an ideology Feminism discourse in dwilogy Novel entitled Saman and Larung using the critical analysis discourse model of Darma modification critical analysis model based on the Chafez' theory of Feminism. The result of the First step shows that the model of the critical discourse analysis which is modified with the result of literature study, curriculum, and students' characteristics, the researcher are able to design learning material in forms of book, syllabus, guidance for learning activity and evaluation. In the second step, the researcher finds the effectiveness of the critical analysis discourse model and its learning material in the learning activity to the students of Indonesia Language Education Study Program faculty of school of teaching and Educational sciences of Bale Bandung University year 20011-2012 with the total sample is 39 students. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative (Mixed method). The data is gathered from the observation, questionnaire, interview and tests. The pre and post-test are given to students to find out the students' ability before and after treatment by using t-test. The result of the First step is the critical analysis model which is based on the three specific elements from Chafetz's feminism theory is effective used to analyze the ideology of feminism in Saman and Larung dwilogy novel. While the result from the second step is the planning and the implementation of learning activity in examining a discourse using the critical analysis discourse of feminism ideology and its learning material have a good result based on the criteria of learning components, namely: Learning objective, material, method, media, approaches and evaluation. The t-test result show t-test is higher than t-table with the df is 38, or t-test (13.682) > t-table (2.021), it means there is significant difference in students' ability in examining a discourse before and after treatment. In other words the critical analysis discourse model of feminism ideology and its learning material can be used in teaching and learning activity of examining a Literature discourse or other discourse to improve students' ability in analyzing a feminism ideology discourse.
