Abstract
Tujuan penelitian adalah proaktivitas peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015-1016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan proaktivitas peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015-2016.Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: kondisi objektif profil proaktivitas peserta didik didik kelas VIII SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015-2016. Gambaran umum proaktivitas peserta didik memperlihatkan rerata indeks skala sebesar 3,1382, dengan simpangan baku sebesar 0,33306. Dilihat dari kategori, rerata indeks skala termasuk kategori tinggi. Artinya, proaktivitas peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung pada tahun pelajaran 2015/2016, baik pada aspek: (1) memilih respons, mencakup sub-aspek kesadaran diri, imajinasi, kata hati, dan kehendak bebas; (2) mengambil inisiatif, mencakup sub-aspek rasa ingin tahu dan antisipasi; (3) sikap bertanggung jawab, mencakup sub-aspek pengendalian situasi dan kesediaan mengambil risiko, termasuk kategori tinggi. Sebagai sebuah dinamika, perilaku proaktivitas peserta didik mempunyai rentang kategori rendah sampai dengan sangat tinggi. Secara detail rerata indeks skala minimal menunjukkan angka sebesar 2,43 (rendah) dan maksimal menunjukkan angka sebesar 4,08 (sangat tinggi). Rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengembangkan program berdasarkan profil proaktivitas peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama.---------- The research in general aims to produce personal guidance services based on the profile of students’ proactivity in the eighth grade class of SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung academic year 2015-1016. It adopted descriptive method in order to describe the eighth grade students’ proactivity in the said school. The research results reveal the objective condition of the eighth grade students’ proactivity in SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung academic year 2015-2016. In general, the average index scale of students’ proactivity was 3.1382, with the highest standard deviation of 0.33306. The average index scale is categorized as high, which means that the proactivity of the eight grade class students of SMP Bina Dharma 2 Bandung in the academic year of 2015/2016, is categorized good for the aspects of: (1) selecting responses, including the sub-aspects of; self-awareness, imagination, conscience, and free will; (2) taking initiatives, covering the sub-aspects of curiosity and anticipation; (3) taking responsibility, constituting the sub-aspects of control and willingness to take a risk, which is categorized as high. The categorization is based on a dynamic range starting from low to very high. More specifically, the minimum average index scale is 2.43 (low), and the maximum average index scale is 4.08 (very high). The research recommend that: The future researchers develop programs based on students’ proactivity in junior high school.
