Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kompetensi peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan praktek general cleaning public area section yang sesuai dengan ketentuan SOP. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran kompetensi peserta didik dalam melaksanakan praktek general cleaning public area section yang meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan hasil kerja sesuai dengan SOP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan instrumen daftar ceklist Guttman dan rubrik penilaian skala Likert. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampling purposivie berjumlah 42 Peserta didik. Hasil penelitian mencakup tiga tahapan yang dilaksanakan oleh peserta didik yaitu tahap persiapan meliputi aspek penampilan diri (grooming), persiapan peralatan, persiapan bahan pembersih/ chemical dan penataan trolley sesuai dengan SOP menunjukan kriteria tinggi. Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi aspek general cleaning lobby area, meeting room, corridor, staircase dan restroom sesuai dengan SOP menunjukan kriteria tinggi. Tahap hasil kerja yang meliputi aspek general cleaning lobby area, meeting room, corridor, staircase, restroom, memilih dan menata perlengkapan, penyimpanan kembali peralatan dan bahan pembersih (storing), posisi sikap kerja, keselamatan kerja dan waktu penyelesaian praktek sesuai dengan SOP menunjukan kriteria cukup tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kompetensi peserta didik pada praktek general cleaning public area section sudah tinggi sesuai dengan SOP. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan bahan masukan untuk mempertahankan pembelajaran dalam upaya meningkatkan kompetensi pelaksanaan praktek general cleaning public area section yang sesuai dengan SOP. ---------- This study is motivated by the importance of students’ competence in implementing the practice of general cleaning public area section accord with the standard operation procedure (SOP). The study is aimed to gain the depiction of students’ competence in implementing the practice of general cleaning public area section which includes the preparation, the implementation and the result accord with the SOP. The method used is descriptive method which employed Guttman checklist and Likert scale assessment rubric as the instruments used. This study employed purposive sampling including 42 students. The findings include three stages implemented by the students; those are preparation stage including the grooming aspect, the tools preparation, the chemical preparation and the trolley organizing accord with the SOP show high criteria. The implementation stage which includes general cleaning lobby area, meeting room, corridor, staircase and restroom accord with the SOP show high criteria. The result stage which includes general cleaning lobby area, meeting room, corridor, staircase, restroom, choosing and organizing the equipment, restoring the equipment, work attitude position, occupational safety and the time limit accord with the SOP show a quite high level. The result of the study shows that students’ competence on the implementation of general cleaning public area section is already high and accord with the SOP. The result of this study can be used as the input to maintain teaching and learning in the effort of increasing the competence of the implementation of general cleaning public area section practice accord with the SOP
