Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa Kelas X (Sepuluh) Program Keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 11 Bandung yang ditandai dengan banyaknya siswa yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) pada nilai ujian akhir semester kompetensi dasar menjelaskan tentang komunikasi kantor mata pelajaran pengantar administrasi perkantoran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran pair checks dan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran think pair share pada kompetensi dasar menjelaskan tentang komunikasi kantor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas yakni kelompok eksperimen adalah Kelas X AP 2 yang diterapkan model pembelajaran pair checks dan kelompok kontrol adalah Kelas X AP 4 yang diterapkan model pembelajaran think pair share dengan masing-masing kelompok berjumlah 35 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran pair checks dengan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran think pair share. Dari perbedaan tersebut, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran pair checks lebih unggul daripada model pembelajaran think pair share dikarenakan model pembelajaran pair checks dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran think pair share ----------The problem in this research contents is about the low of student cognitive learning outcomes in Class X Office Administration expertise in SMK Negeri 11 Bandung which characterized by quite a few of students that not getting yet the minimum graduation criteria for the final exam outcomes on basic competence is explaining about communications of office. The purpose this research is to find of description the difference of students cognitive learning outcomes who apply the learning model pair checks and students who apply learning model think pair share in basic competence is explaining about communications of office The method used in this research is quasi eksperimental design and used non-equivalent control group design. The research consisted of two groups are the first group is the eksperimental group is X AP 2 which apply learning model pair checks and the second group is the controller group is X AP 4 which apply learning model think pair share both of the group have 35 students The results of this research showed that there is an influence of students cognitive learning outcomes between the eksperimental group which applied learning model of pair checks and the controller group which applied learning model of think pair share.
