Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak senam irama terhadap indikator kecerdasaan emosional 60 orang siswa (L.30 dan P.30) kelas XI Multimedia di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple non-randomized sampling. Sampel dibagi kedalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah senam irama. Instrument indikator kecerdasan emoaional yang digunakan dalam bentuk angket dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik yang meliputi uji beda rata-rata (paired sampels t-test dan independent samples t-test) dan gain score menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa senam irama berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan indikator kecerdasaan emosional siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi kelas XI Multimedia B. Berdasarkan nilai gain rata-rata, peningkatan indikator kecerdasaan emosional oleh perlakuan senam irama, kelompok eksperimen lebih besar (0,5537) dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (0,2182). Peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa senam irama dapat mempengaruhi indikator kecerdasaan emosional siswa kelas XI Multimedia di SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi.----------This study aims to determine the impact of rhythmic gymnastics for indicators of emotional intelligence 60 students (B.30 and G.30) Multimedia XI class at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. This research used experimental research pretest-posttest control group design. The samples in this study using the technique of simple non-randomized sampling. The samples were divided into two groups: the experimental group were given the treatment and control group was not given treatment. The treatment given is rhythmic gymnastics. Instrument emoaional intelligence indicators that are used in the form of a questionnaire using Likert Scale. Data analysis techniques using parametric statistics covering different test average (paired t-test the samples and independent samples t-test) and gain score using SPSS version 20. The results showed that the rhythmic gymnastics significantly influence the increase in indicators of emotional intelligence of students at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi Multimedia XI class B. Based on an average gain value, an increase in indicators of emotional intelligence by treatment of rhythmic gymnastics, the larger the experimental group (0.5537) as compared with the control group (0.2182). Researchers can deduce that rhythmic gymnastics can affect the emotional intelligence indicator Multimedia class XI student in SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi.
