Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas X IIS di SMA Negeri 8 Bandung, khususnya pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Ini terlihat dari hasil ujian tengah semester, yang masih belum memenuhi KKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model cooperative learning dengan teknik thunk pair share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan Nonequivqlent Control Group Design. Dari hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan teknik think pair share (TPS), terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan pada kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, dan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan diantara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Kata Kunci : Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Share, Hasil Belajar. The issue in this research is the low results of the students’ learning outcomes in class X IIS at SMAN 8 Bandung, especially in economics. It can be seen from the results of the midterm test which still have not met the KKM. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the use of cooperative learning model with Think Pair Share techniques (TPS) on students’ learning outcomes. The method that was used in this research is quasi experiment with Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The results of the research proved that there are differences in the students’ learning outcomes between before and after treated in class experiments using the Think Pair Share techniques (TPS), and also in students’ learning outcomes between before and after treated in control classes using lecture method, and there are differences in the increase of students’ learning outcomes between before and after the treatments that were given; the experimental class, and the controled class.
