Abstract

Kosakata merupakan hal penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang, karena semakin banyak kosakata yang dikuasai semakin baik pula dalam berkomunikasi. Namun dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di sekolah, banyak siswa yang masih kesulitan dalam menguasai kosakata. Maka dari itu, penulis mengadakan penelitian Efektivitas teknik permainan Write on Back untuk memudahkan siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Jepang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui kemampuan kosakata bahasa Jepang siswa sebelum menggunakan teknik permainan Write on Back 2) Untuk mengetahui kefektivitasan penerapan permainan write on back dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang. 3) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan permainan write on back dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang ( angket ) Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain one Group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Laboratorium-Percontohan UPI Kampus Cibiru dan sampelnya adalah 30 siswa kelas VII SMP Laboratorium-Percontohan UPI Kampus Cibiru. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pretes, postes, dan angket. Dari hasil analisis data, diketahui nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 31,73 postes sebesar 71,47. Perbedaan dua rata-rata adalah dari Sig.(2-tailed) yaitu 0,000< 0,05, maka H0 ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan akhir penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang lebih baik daripada kemampuan awal penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jepang secara signifikan. Serta berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari angket, dapat dikatakan bahwa teknik permainan Write on Back efektif dan mampu membuat siswa lebih fokus, belajar berkomunikasi dengan kelompok, belajar bertanggung jawab dengan tugas-tugas yang diberikan. Kata Kunci : Teknik, permainan, Write on Back, kosakata Vocabulary is an important thing in learning Japanese, because more vocabularies mastered will be better too in communication. However, in the process of Japanese learning in school, there are still many students who difficult in mastering the vocabulary. Therefore, the researcher did a research about the effectiveness of Write on Back games technique to make students learn Japanese easily. This study aims: 1) to know students’ ability of Japanese vocabulary before using Write on Back games technique.2)To know the effectiveness of Write on Back games application in improving Japanese vocabularies.3) To know students’ response of Write on Back games application in improving Japanese vocabularies (questionnaire). This study uses quasi experimental method with One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population of this study is students of SMP Laboratorium-Percontohan UPI Kampus Cibiru, and the samples are 30 students in class of VII SMP Laboratorium-Percontohan UPI Kampus Cibiru. This study also uses some instruments; there are pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire. Data analysis shows that the average score of pre-test is 31,73 post-test is 71,47. The difference of two average is from Sig.(2-tailed) which is 0,000<0,05, so H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be conclude that the last ability of students in Japanese vocabulary mastered is better than the beginning ability significantly. Furthermore, based on the data from questionnaire, it can be said that Write on Back games technique is effective and it can make students more focus, make students to learn to communicate in group, and make students to be responsible with the assignments given by the teacher.
