Abstract
Materi pelajaran yang disajikan guru di kelas merupakan salah satu hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam pembelajaran. Materi ajar harus disesuaikan dengan kompetensi dasar (KD) agar kompetensi yang diharapkan bisa tercapai. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian materi pelajaran yang disajikan guru di kelas dengan materi tuntutan KD ditinjau dari keluasan dan kedalaman, urutan materi, kesesuaian materi dengan indikator dan ketersampaian materi pada soal ujian nasional (UN) dalam proses pembelajaran serta implikasinya tehadap UN. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah sepuluh orang guru biologi dari tujuh SMA N di kota Bandung sebagai sampel yang berasal dari tiga cluster sekolah yang berbeda. Penentuan sekolah sebagai sampel dilakukan dengan teknik stratified cluster random sampling. KD yang dianalisis adalah KD materi Plantae kelas X dan sistem ekskresi kelas XI. Data diperoleh dengan cara observasi, studi dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kesesuaian materi yang disajikan guru dengan materi tuntutan KD berdasarkan aspek keluasan yaitu 82,7 %, kedalaman 68,9 %, urutan materi 83,9 % dan kesesuaian materi dengan indikator 86,4 %. Sementara, ketersampaian materi pada soal UN dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu 93,8 %. Adanya ketidak sesuaian antara materi pada soal UN dengan materi yang disajikan guru di kelas, dikhawatirkan akan mempengaruhi tingkat ketuntasan siswa dalam UN. The subject matter should be adapted to the basic competence (BC) in order to achieve expected competencies. This study was conducted to descriptions at the suitability of the subject matter presented in classroom teacher with subject matters BC demands in terms of breadth and depth, the order of the material, the material suitability with indicators and taught how many materials on the national exam (NE) in the learning process and the implications of NE. The method used is descriptive method. Subjects were 10 teacher from seven high school biology teacher in the city of Bandung as samples derived from three different school clusters. Determination of the schools in the sample was done by using stratified cluster random sampling. BC material analyzed was Plantae class 10 and excretion system class 11. Data obtained by means of observation, documentation studies and questionnaires. The results showed that the average suitability of the material presented teachers with the material demands of BC is based on aspects of the breadth of 82.7%, 68.9% depth, 83.9% material order and material suitability with indicator 86.4 %. While of subject matter at the NE about the presented learning process that is 93.8%. Any discrepancy between the material at the UN about the material presented in the classroom teacher, would negatively affect students' level of exhaustiveness in the NE.
