    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masih rendahnya kompetensi pedagogik guru bahasa Arab Madrasah Aliyah di kabupaten Purwakarta dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dan usaha meningkatkannya serta ada tidaknya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogiknya dalam menyusun RPP melalui workshop. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengungkap gambaran kompetensi pedagogik guru dan usaha meningkatkannya. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam menyusun RPP digunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah dengan dua siklus sebagai subjek penelitian guru bahasa Arab Madrasah Aliyah di kabupaten Purwakarta Tahun 2015 yang berjumlah 25 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran kompetensi pedagogik guru berada pada kategori CUKUP, dan usaha meningkatkannya melalui kegiatan workshop dan sejenisnya. Adanya peningkatan yang signifikan tentang kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam menyusun RPP melalui Workshop pada siklus kedua lebih baik dari pada saat siklus pertama. This research is motivated still lack pedagogical competence Arabic teacher at Madrasah Aliyah Purwakarta district in preparing lesson plan. This study aims to describe the pedagogical competence of teachers and improve the business and whether there is an increase pedagogical competence in preparing lesson plans through workshops. The method used to reveal the qualitative descriptive overview of pedagogical competence of teachers and improve the business. Whereas to determine whether there is an increase pedagogical competence of teachers in preparing lesson plans used method Action Research School with two cycles as research subjects Arabic teacher at Madrasah Aliyah Purwakarta district in 2015, amounting to 25 people. The results showed that the description of pedagogical competence of teachers is in the category ENOUGH, and increase efforts through workshops and the like. Significant improvement of pedagogical competence of teachers in preparing lesson plans through the Workshop on the second cycle is better than the current first cycle.
