Abstract

Model pembelajaran satu arah membuat guru menjadi satu-satunya pemberi informasi materi pelajaran bagi siswa, model ini kurang efektif dalam proses belajar siswa, sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan alternatif model pembelajaran kooperatif yang dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dalam proses belajar melalui pembelajaran kelompok yaitu model pembelajaran group investigation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dan peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Gambar Konstruksi Bangunan kelas XI TGB 1 SMKN 1 Cilaku-Cianjur Penulis menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilakukan tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan & pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan yaitu lembar pengamatan untuk memperoleh data peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran dan posttest sebagai penilaian aspek kognitif dan tes gambar sebagai penilaian aspek psikomotorik untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat dibuat beberapa simpulan yaitu: 1) Terdapat peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di kelas diamati dari kegiatan siswa dan kegiatan guru; 2) Terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dilihat dari aspek kognitif dan aspek psikomotorik pada tiap siklus. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Kooperatif, Group Investigation, Prestasi Belajar, Gambar Konstruksi Bangunan The learning model in one direction makes the teacher became the only giver of information material for student, this model is less effective in the learning process of student, causing a lack of understanding of student against the subject matter. Effort to resolve the issue is to implement cooperative learning model alternatives which can make students more actively in the learning process through learning groups, the model learning group investigation. The purpose of this research was to know the application of cooperative learning model type group investigation and improvement of the learning achievements of students in the subjects of the image building construction class 11th of TGB 1 Cilaku-Cianjur. The author uses the class action research model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Research conducted three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Technical analysis of data used, observation form to obtain data increased the activity of students and teacher in the learning and posttest as the assessment of cognitive aspects and drawing test of psychomotor aspects to find out the improvement of student learning achievement. Based on the result of the data analysis can be made a few conclusion: 1) there is an increase in the quality of learning in the classroom observed from students and teacher activities; 2) there is an increase in student learning achievement seen from the aspect of cognitive and psychomotor aspects in each cycle.
