Abstract

Analisis kesiapan ujian nasional siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran biologi merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengukur kesiapan siswa SMA dalam menempuh ujian nasional. Selain bertujuan untuk mengukur kesiapan siswa SMA pada ujian nasional mata pelajaran biologi, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memetakan kesiapan siswa terhadap indikator ujian nasional. Kesiapan siswa ditandai dengan tingkat kelulusan siswa dan ketercapaian ketuntasan indikator menurut standar yang sudah ditetapkan. Kesiapan siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tiga perangkat soal yang sesuai dengan kisi-kisi ujian nasional dengan dua diantaranya berpedoman pada standar isi kurikulum KTSP dan satu perangakat lainnya berpedoman pada standar isi kurikulum Cambridge International Examination, serta dilakukan penilaian persiapan dalam mengumpulkan data yang dan lembar observasi untuk mengukur persiapan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan dilakukan pada tiga sekolah di kota Bandung, yang terdiri dari sekolah cluster 1, 2 dan 3 dan Tes diberikan sebanyak tiga kali pada masing-masing sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah cluster 2 memiliki kesiapan paling baik di bandingkan sekolah cluster 1 dan tiga, sementara sekolah cluster 1 memperoleh hasil kurang baik jika dibandingkan sekolah cluster 2 dan sekolah cluster 3 memperoleh hasil paling kurang baik diantara ketiga sekolah yang diteliti. Hal tersebut ditunjang oleh keterlaksanaan program persiapan pada masing-masing sekolah. Kata kunci: Ujian Nasional, Kesiapan, Mata pelajaran biologi, Cambridge An analysis of senior high school students’ readiness in facing the National Examination (UN) on Biology subject is a research which aims to measure the students’ readiness in facing the National Examination (UN). Besides that, this research is aimed to know the pattern of the students’ readiness towards national examination indicator. The readiness of students is marked by the rate of students’ graduation and indicator completeness achievement based on the establish standard. This researcher uses both question-based instrument and observation papers in collecting data which are needed to measure the students’ readiness in facing the National Examination (UN). Test is given as many as three times to each school in which two of the tests refer to content standards of KTSP and one other refers to content standards of curriculum of Cambridge National Examination. This research is conducted in three schools in Bandung which consist of school cluster 1, 2 and cluster 3. The research uses a descriptive method. The result of this research shows that school which is noted as cluster 2 obtains the best readiness of all school cluster, while the school which is from cluster 1 obtains less good result than the school cluster 2 and the school from cluster 3 is the worst result among three clusters. Those results are related to do with the preparation program held by every school. Key words: National Examination, readiness, Biology subject, Cambridge
