Abstract

Banyak sekali faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar, salah satunya adalah metode pengajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah metode pengajaran tutor sebaya memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran akuntansi di kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Quasi-eksperimental design. Bentuk desain yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 11 Bandung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI Akuntansi 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 orang. Berdasarkan hasil uji gain pretest-posttest pada kelas eksperimen terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 38%. Dan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif metode pengajaran tutor sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

There were several factors which affected students’ learning motivation, for example, the teaching style done by the teacher.The study was aimed to find out whether Peer-Tutoring was effective in improving 11th students’ motivation or not. This study was conducted in SMKN 11 Bandung. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was four 11th grades of Accounting majors in the academic year of 2014 – 2015. One classes were taken as samples in this study, namely, XI Accounting 4 with 32 students as the experiment group. After conducting pre-test and post-test in the experimental group, the students’ motivation increased 38%. According to the hyphotesis test result with t-test, it could be concluded that there was a significant improvement in applying Peer-Tutoring teaching method towards students’ learning motivation.
