Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Tujuannya adalah mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan keaktifan belajar dapat dicapai melalui penerapan model pembelajaran flipped classroom. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), melibatkan 33 peserta didik kelas X di SMK SMIP YPPT Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi menggunakan lembar berisi 22 indikator dengan skala penilaian 1–5. Tindakan dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Pada siklus I, pra-pembelajaran dilakukan dengan membagikan video animasi dan PowerPoint melalui WhatsApp Group, dilanjutkan pembelajaran tatap muka berupa apersepsi, penguatan materi, diskusi kelompok, presentasi, dan penanggapan. Hasil siklus I menunjukkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam kategori “Aktif” dengan rata-rata skor 85 (71,59%). Pada siklus II, perbaikan dilakukan melalui penyajian video pembelajaran berisi penjelasan langsung dan soal evaluatif, pembagian tugas kelompok yang merata, serta pemberian motivasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan ke kategori “Sangat Aktif” dengan rata-rata skor 95,8 (83,86%). Kesimpulannya, model flipped classroom efektif meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Usaha Layanan Pariwisata. This research was motivated by the low level of student learning activeness in the classroom. The aim was to determine the extent to which learning activeness could be improved through the implementation of the flipped classroom model. The study used a qualitative approach with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, involving 33 tenth-grade students at SMK SMIP YPPT Bandung. Data were collected through observations using a sheet containing 22 indicators with a rating scale of 1–5. The intervention was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. In the first cycle, pre-learning activities included distributing animated videos and PowerPoint presentations via WhatsApp Group, followed by face-to-face sessions consisting of apperception, content reinforcement, group discussions, presentations, and peer responses. The results of the first cycle showed that students' learning activeness fell into the "Active" category, with an average score of 85 (71.59%). In the second cycle, improvements were made by presenting instructional videos containing direct explanations and evaluative questions, evenly distributing group assignments, and providing motivation. The results showed a significant improvement to the "Very Active" category, with an average score of 95.8 (83.86%). In conclusion, the flipped classroom model is effective in increasing student learning activeness in the subject of Basic Tourism Service Business.
