    Abstract

    Mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Mesin merupakan fondasi penting bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Industri (SMK) dalam mengembangkan keterampilan profesional di bidang teknik manufaktur. Salah satu materi penting adalah penggunaan alat ukur jangka sorong, yang memerlukan keterampilan membaca dan mengoperasikan alat secara tepat. Namun sarana prasarana tersebut kurang memadai dalam proses pembelajaran, hasil belajar peserta didik kelas sepertinya kurang maksimal dengan penerapan media pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan chatbot sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi alat ukur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penggunaan Chatbot ini divalidasi oleh ahli dan diuji cobakan pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X Teknik Pemesinan SMKN 2 Bandung Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa Penggunaan Chatbot Berbasis Ai Learning Assitant Pada Materi Alat Ukur secara keseluruhan, chatbot dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar terutama pada siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah hingga menengah, namun peningkatan yang dicapai masih dalam kategori sedang. Maka penelitian ini telah tercapai dengan baik dan terbukti bahwa Penggunaan Chatbot Berbasis Ai Learning Assitant Pada Materi Alat Ukur dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata kunci: chatbot, media pembelajaran, hasil belajar, SMK The subject Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering serves as an essential foundation for vocational high school (SMK) students to develop professional skills in the field of manufacturing engineering. One important topic is the use of a vernier caliper, which requires accurate reading and operation skills. However, the existing facilities and infrastructure for this learning process are inadequate, and student learning outcomes in this topic appear suboptimal with the current learning media. This study aims to analyze the use of a chatbot as a learning medium to improve student achievement in measurement tool material. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The chatbot was validated by experts and tested on students. This study was conducted with grade X Mechanical Engineering students at SMKN 2 Bandung. The findings indicate that the use of an AI Learning Assistant–based chatbot in measurement tool material can improve learning outcomes, particularly for students with low to medium initial ability levels, although the improvement remains in the moderate category. Therefore, this study has successfully demonstrated that the application of an AI Learning Assistant–based chatbot can enhance student learning outcomes.
