Abstract

Kekerasan seksual merupakan isu sosial yang sering menjadi perbincangan di masyarakat. Fenomena ini membuat tempat-tempat yang seharusnya menjadi ruang aman kehilangan fungsinya sebagai tempat yang bebas dari tindak kekerasan seksual. Maka dari itu diperlukan edukasi dalam rangka mencegah tindak kekerasan seksual di lingkungan pendidikan. Sastra merupakan salah satu media yang dapat digunakan untuk edukasi. Banyak yang menganggap bahwa sastra hanyalah media hiburan. Namun, kemampuannya dalam menangkap realitas sosial dan mengemasnya kembali dalam bentuk visual menjadi salah satu faktor mengapa sastra merupakan media edukasi yang menarik. Dalam hal ini, antologi cerpen Kapan Nanti karya Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie dipilih sebagai bahan rancangan buku teks pendamping untuk siswa kelas 11 di SMA. Antologi tersebut dipilih karena Kapan Nanti memuat isu-isu kekerasan dan salah satu di antaranya adalah kekerasan seksual. Peneliti menggunakan teori semiotika Roland Barthes untuk menganalisis makna-makna dibalik kutipan yang mengandung tindak kekerasan seksual dan teori representasi Stuart Hall untuk menganalisis pendekatan representasi yang digunakan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan sumber data utama berupa cerita pendek berjudul Kabaret, Kering, dan Kubur dalam antologi cerpen Kapan Nanti. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah terdapat tindak kekerasan seksual seperti pelecehan seksual, pemaksaan pernikahan, dan lain-lainnya yang direpresentasikan dengan pendekatan konstruksionis dan intensional. Hasil analisis tersebut kemudian digunakan untuk menyusun rancangan buku teks pendamping dengan judul Menelaah Nilai Kehidupan dan Unsur Intrinsik Cerpen dengan capaian agar siswa mampu memahami unsur intrinsik cerpen dan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Sexual violence is a social issue that still often being talked in society. This phenomenon makes places that are supposed to be safe spaces lose their function as places that are free from sexual violence. Therefore, education is needed in order to prevent sexual violence in the academic environment. Literature is one of the media that can be used for education. Many people think that literature just holds an entertainment purpose. However, its ability to capture social reality and repackage it in visual form is one of the factors why literature is an interesting educational medium. In this case, the Kapan Nanti short story anthology by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie was chosen as the material for the design of a supplementary textbook for 11th grade students in high school. The anthology was chosen because Kapan Nanti contains issues of violence and one of them is sexual violence. The researcher used Roland Barthes' semiotic theory to analyze the meanings behind the quotes containing sexual violence and Stuart Hall's representation theory to analyze the representation approach used in the stories. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and the main data source is a short story entitled Kabaret, Kering, and Kubur in the Kapan Nanti short story anthology. The results of the research explains that there are sexual violence acts such as sexual harassment, forced marriage, etc. The analysis result are then used to draft a companion textbook with the title Menelaah Nilai Kehidupan dan Unsur Intrinsik Cerpen with the goal that students are able to understand the intrinsic elements of short stories and the life values contained in them.
