    Abstract

    Permasalahan rendahnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi keragaman budaya dalam elemen Bhinneka Tunggal Ika pada Pendidikan Pancasila, yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode pembelajaran bermain peran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik fase C sekolah dasar pada materi tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test, melibatkan 15 peserta didik kelas V di SDN 134 Panorama Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda dan esai yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 41,40 pada pre-test menjadi 77,13 pada post-test, dengan uji t yang mengindikasikan perbedaan signifikan dan nilai N-Gain pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan rendahnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik fase C di sekolah dasar. The issue of low conceptual understanding among students in the topic of cultural diversity within the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika element of Civic Education is attributed to the use of conventional and less contextual teaching methods. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the role-playing learning method in improving the conceptual understanding of phase C elementary school students on the aforementioned topic. The research employed a quantitative approach with one group pre-test and post-test design, involving 15 fifth grade students at SDN 134 Panorama, Bandung City. The instruments used were multiple-choice and essay tests that had been validated and tested for reliability. The results showed an increase in the average score from 41.40 in the pre-test to 77.13 in the post-test, with the t-test indicating a significant difference and the N-Gain score categorized as moderate to high. Based on these findings, it is expected that the problem of low conceptual understanding among phase C elementary school students can be addressed.
