Abstract
Perbandingan kemampuan motorik kasar dan kebugaran jasmani pada siswa sekolah dasar berbasis agama Islam dan sekolah dasar negeri berdasarkan jenis kelamin masih sedikit perhatian para peneliti, maka perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut terkait hal ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis perbandingan kemampuan motorik kasar dan kebugaran jasmani pada siswa sekolah dasar berbasis agama Islam dan sekolah dasar negeri berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif komparatif. Sampel terdiri dari siswa kelas IV di enam sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik two-stage cluster sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) untuk mengukur kemampuan motorik kasar, dan Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKSI) Fase B untuk mengukur kebugaran jasmani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan motorik kasar (p = 0,001) dan kebugaran jasmani (p = 0,000) antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, serta antara siswa sekolah dasar berbasis agama Islam dan sekolah dasar negeri. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa : (1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan motorik kasar antara siswa sekolah dasar berbasis agama islam dan sekolah dasar negeri; (2) Terdapat perbedaan kebugaran jasmani antara siswa sekolah dasar berbasis agama islam dan sekolah dasar negeri; (3) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan motorik kasar dan kebugaran jasmani antara siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan di sekolah dasar berbasis agama islam maupun di sekolah dasar negeri. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pendekatan pendidikan jasmani yang adaptif dan inklusif terhadap jenis kelamin dan karakteristik sekolah untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan fisik siswa. The comparison of gross motor skills and physical fitness in students from Islamic-based elementary schools and public elementary schools based on gender has received limited attention from previous studies. Therefore, further research on this issue is necessary. This study aims to analyze the comparison of gross motor skills and physical fitness among students in Islamic-based elementary schools and public elementary schools based on gender. The method used was a quantitative comparative approach. The sample consisted of 4th-grade students from six elementary schools in Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency, selected using a two-stage cluster sampling technique. The research instruments included the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2) to assess gross motor skills and the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKSI) Phase B to measure physical fitness. The results showed significant differences in gross motor skills (p = 0.001) and physical fitness (p = 0.000) between male and female students, as well as between students in Islamic-based and public elementary schools. The conclusions of this study are: (1) There is a difference in gross motor skills between students in Islamic-based and public elementary schools; (2) There is a difference in physical fitness between students in Islamic-based and public elementary schools; and (3) There are differences in gross motor skills and physical fitness between male and female students in both types of schools. Therefore, this study recommends the implementation of physical education that is adaptive and inclusive to gender and school characteristics to optimize students' physical development.
