Abstract
Literasi fisik merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan jasmani yang mendukung gaya hidup aktif dan sehat sejak dini. Namun, tingkat literasi fisik siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap peningkatan literasi fisik siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain siklus Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 28 siswa kelas VI SDN 085 Ciumbuleuit Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi kuesioner PLC-Quest, lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi fisik siswa setelah diterapkan model Jigsaw. Persentase ketuntasan meningkat dari 14% menjadi 100%, dan skor rata-rata literasi fisik meningkat dari 72 menjadi 100. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi fisik siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran yang kolaboratif, aktif, dan menyenangkan. Physical literacy is a fundamental component of physical education that fosters lifelong engagement in physical activity. However, many elementary school students still demonstrate low levels of physical literacy. This study aimed to examine the effect of the cooperative learning model, specifically the Jigsaw type, on improving physical literacy among elementary students. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, involving 28 sixth-grade students from SDN 085 Ciumbuleuit, Bandung. Data were collected using the Physical Literacy in Children Questionnaire (PLC-Quest), observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ physical literacy after applying the Jigsaw learning model. Mastery level increased from 14% at the initial stage to 100% in the second cycle, while the average physical literacy score rose from 72 to 100. These results indicate that the Jigsaw model is effective in promoting active participation, collaboration, and deeper understanding in physical education.
