Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh problematika akhlak remaja, baik yang berasal dari sekolah umum maupun sekolah Islami. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan dan organisasi intra kampus/UKM terhadap akhlak mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengolahan data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan bantuan software SPSS 21. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan populasi mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia angkatan 2012. Adapun proses pengambilan sampel menggunakan multistages cluster sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa skor komponen latar belakang pendidikan memperoleh nilai t-test sebesar =1.438 lebih kecil dari t-tabel = 2,003 yang signifikan pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 (58-2). Sedangkan komponen ekstrakurikuler /UKM kampus memperoleh nilai-t sebesar = 3.320 lebih besar dari t-tabel = 1.989 yang signifikan pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 (84-2). Dari hal terebut diketahui bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada latar belakang pendidikan terhadap akhlak mahasiswa. Namun, tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada komponen organisasi intra kampus terhadap akhlak mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Latar Belakang Pendidikan, Organisasi Intra Kampus, Akhlak. The background of the study is a problem of students’ moral behavior either school in general or Islamic school. Therefore, this study aims to discover whether there is influence of education background and organization intra campus towards students’ moral behavior Indonesia University of Education. This study employed descriptive method with quantitative approach; the data processing used descriptive statistic and inferential statistic with Software SPSS 21. The technique of collecting data used questionnaire which is students Indonesia University of Education 2012. Further, the process of collecting sample used multistages cluster sampling. The results of the study showed that component score of education background got t-test score =1.438 more less than t-table= 2,003 which is significant in level 0,05 (58-2). Meanwhile, extracurricular or unit of student activity campus (or UKM) got t-score = 3.320 bigger than t-table =1.989 which is significant in level 0,05 (84-2). This showed that there is significant influence in education background towards students’ behavior. However, nothing significant influences in organization component intra campus towards students’ behavior Indonesia University of Education.
