    Abstract

    Empati budaya merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam proses perkembangan sosial remaja. Proses empati budaya mulai terjadi ketika menginjak usia remaja karena individu mulai berinteraksi dengan masyarakat secara luas. Tanpa empati budaya, remaja cenderung mendapat perlakuan kurang baik dalam lingkungan multikultural. Peserta didik dengan empati budaya yang baik cenderung menunjukkan sikap peduli dan terbuka dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran empati budaya peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 dan merancang strategi bimbingan kelompok untuk mengembangkan empati budaya peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empati budaya peserta didik berada pada kategori tinggi. Layanan bimbingan kelompok dirancang berdasarkan indikator penelitian terendah. Layanan bimbingan kelompok sebagai upaya mengembangkan empati budaya peserta didik pada aspek kognitif, aspek afektif dan aspek komunikatif agar peserta didik memiliki pemahaman, sikap dan keterampilan mengenai empati budaya. Rekomendasi penelitian ini ditujukan kepada sekolah khususnya guru bimbingan dan konseling. Cultural empathy is an important aspect in the social development process of adolescents. The process of cultural empathy begins to occur when individuals enter adolescence because they start interacting with society at large. Without cultural empathy, adolescents tend to receive poor treatment in multicultural environments. Students with good cultural empathy tend to show caring and open attitudes in their daily lives. This study aims to determine the level of cultural empathy among tenth-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Bandung for the 2024/2025 academic year and to design group counseling strategies to develop students' cultural empathy. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The results of the study indicate that the students' cultural empathy is in the high category. Group guidance services are designed based on the lowest research indicators. Group guidance services are an effort to develop students' cultural empathy in cognitive, affective, and communicative aspects so that students have an understanding, attitude, and skills regarding cultural empathy. The recommendations of this study are intended for schools, especially guidance and counseling teachers.
