Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam membaca sajak.. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca sajak sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan desain one group pretest and posttest. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-7 Fase E SMA Negeri 1 Subang Kuningan tahun ajaran 2024-2025 yang berjumlah 33 siswa, 18 siswa perempuan dan 15 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan 3 hal. Pertama, kemampuan membaca sajak sebelum menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray adalah “belum mampu” dengan rata-rata 62,51. Kedua, kemampuan membaca sajak setelah menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray tergolong “mampu” dengan rata-rata 82,27. Ketiga, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan membaca sajak siswa kelas X-7 Fase E SMA Negeri 1 Subang Kuningan tahun ajaran 2024-2025 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray dengan selisih 19,76. Kata kunci: model Two Stay Two Stray, membaca, sajak. This study was conducted due to the lack of students' ability in reading sajak. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' ability in reading sajak before and after using the Two Stay Two Stray model. The approach used is a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest and posttest design. The data source in this study was 33 students of class X-7 Phase E of SMA Negeri 1 Subang Kuningan in the 2024-2025 academic year, totaling 33 students, 18 female students and 15 male students. The results of this study produced 3 things. First, the ability to read sajak before using the Two Stay Two Stray model was "not yet able" with an average of 62.51. Second, the ability to read sajak after using the Two Stay Two Stray model was classified as "able" with an average of 82.27. Third, there was a significant difference between the ability to read sajak of class X-7 Phase E students of SMA Negeri 1 Subang Kuningan in the 2024-2025 academic year before and after using the Two Stay Two Stray model with a difference of 19.76. Sumber data dina ieu panalungtikan nyaéta siswa kelas X-7 Fase E SMA Negeri 1 Subang Kuningan taun ajar 2024-2025 anu jumlahna 33 siswa, 18 siswa awéwé jeung 15 siswa lalaki. Hasil tina ieu panalungtikan ngahasilkeun 3 hal. Kahiji, kamampuh maca sajak saméméh ngagunakeun modél Two Stay Two Stray kagolong “can mampuh” kalawan rata-rata 62,51. Kadua, kamampuh maca sajak sanggeus ngagunakeun modél Two Stay Two Stray kagolong “mampuh” kalawan rata-rata 82,27. Katilu, aya béda signifikan antara kamampuh maca sajak siswa kelas X-7 Fase E SMA Negeri 1 Subang Kuningan taun ajar 2024-2025 saméméh jeung sanggeus ngagunakeun modél Two Stay Two Stray kalawan selisih 19,76.
