    Abstract

    Pendahuluan: Sex Education pada anak sekolah sangat penting dilakukan untuk mencegah anak dari terjadinya perilaku pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual. Busy book merupakan salah satu alat permainan edukatif (APE) yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi anak usia sekolah dalam mengenalkan sex education. Busy book merupakan buku yang terbuat dari kain flanel yang berwarna-warni untuk meningkatkan minat anak belajar sambil bermain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh busy book tentang sex education terhadap tingkat pengetahuan pada anak usia sekolah. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental dengan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Test. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 42 orang yang merupakan siswa kelas 1-2 SD IT Paripurna Cimahi. Waktu penelitian dilakukan selama 4 kali pertemuan dengan durasi masing-masing 30 menit. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Busy book berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengetahuan sex education anak usia sekolah (p < 0,001). Diskusi: Busy book dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak usia sekolah. Simpulan: Busy book dapat memepermudah anak dalam menerima informasi. Introduction: Sex education for school-age children is crucial in preventing sexual harassment and violence. A busy book is an educational tool that can be used as a medium for teaching sex education to school-age children. It is made from colorful flannel to capture children's interest, making learning more engaging through play. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using a busy book for sex education on the knowledge levels of school-age children. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a One Group Pre-Test Post-Test approach. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total sample of 42 students from grades 1 and 2 at SD IT Paripurna Cimahi. The study was conducted over four sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. Results: The results showed that the busy book significantly improved the knowledge level of school-age children regarding sex education (p < 0.001). Discussion: The busy book can serve as an effective alternative learning medium to enhance the knowledge of school-age children. Conclusion: The busy book facilitates easier information absorption for children.
