Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah outdoor education berpengaruh terhadap tingkat self confidence siswa. Metode yang digunakan quasi eksperimen dengan non-randomized control group pretest-postest design. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 40 orang, yang terbagi kedalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas outdoor education memberikan pengaruh terhadap tingkat self confidence siswa dengan nilai thitung 11,4 > ttabel 1.68 taraf signifikansi α 0,05 dan dk=n1+n2-2. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan outdoor education memberikan pengaruh terhadap tingkat self confidence siswa. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu, untuk meningkatkan self confidence siswa salah satu media pembelajaran penjas yang bisa dilakukan adalah outdoor education. This research aimed to find out the effects of outdoor education toward students’ self confidence level, this research used quasi experiment method with non randomized control group pretest-postest design. There were 40 participants divided into two groups, experimental and controlled group. The data analysis showed that outdoor education gave influence toward students’ self confidence with tcount 11,4 > ttable 1,68, significance level α 0,05 and dk=n1+n2-2. In conclusion, outdoor education activities gave influences toward students’ self confidence level. As suggestion, outdoor education can be used as teaching media in increasing students’ self confidence.
