Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan di dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi tata surya yang bersifat abstrak, yang di mana metode konvensional berpusat pada guru sering kali kurang efektif dalam membangun pemahaman siswa secara utuh. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dikembangkanlah media pembelajaran berbasis digital berupa aplikasi Siswa Belajar Tata Surya (SIBETA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam bagaimana persepsi siswa kelas VI terhadap penggunaan aplikasi tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 25 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh (total sampling). Data persepsi siswa dikumpulkan melalui angket yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasilnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan jawaban (respons) yang sangat positif dari siswa, yang di mana secara keseluruhan aplikasi SIBETA memperoleh total persentase kelayakan yang sangat tinggi dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Penilaian difokuskan pada tiga aspek utama yang didasarkan dari teori penerimaan teknologi atau Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Aspek tampilan visual dan desain (interface) mendapatkan penilaian tertinggi, menunjukkan bahwa elemen visual atau estetika sangat berhasil untuk menarik minat siswa. Aspek manfaat yang dirasakan (usefulness) juga dinilai sangat tinggi, menandakan siswa merasa aplikasi ini benar-benar membantu mereka memahami materi. Demikian pula dengan aspek kemudahan penggunaan (usability) yang memperoleh skor tinggi, yang berarti aplikasi ini intuitif dan mudah dioperasikan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi SIBETA dinilai sangat baik dan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pendukung yang mempermudah proses belajar siswa pada materi tata surya. This research was motivated by the challenges in learning the abstract concepts of the solar system in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies), where conventional teacher-centered methods are often ineffective in building a comprehensive understanding among students. To address this issue, a digital learning medium in the form of the SIBETA (Siswa Belajar Tata Surya/Students Learn the Solar System) application was developed. This study aims to provide a detailed description of sixth-grade students' perceptions of using this application The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method. The subjects were all 25 sixth grade students, selected using a total sampling technique. Student perception data were collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics to illustrate the findings. The results indicate a very positive response from students, with the SIBETA application achieving a high overall feasibility percentage, categorized as "Very Feasible". The assessment focused on three main aspects based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The visual and design interface aspect received the highest rating, showing that aesthetic elements were highly successful in attracting student interest. The perceived usefulness aspect was also rated very highly, indicating that students felt the application genuinely helped them understand the material. Similarly, the usability aspect scored high, meaning the application is intuitive and easy to operate. The conclusion of this study is that the SIBETA application is considered excellent and effective for use as a supporting medium to facilitate the student learning process on the topic of the solar system.
