    Abstract

    Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia memiliki peran penting dalam penguatan literasi siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya pada keterampilan menyimak, membaca, berbicara, dan menulis secara terpadu. Temuan di SD Negeri Nanjung 01 yang sudah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka menunjukkan bahwa beberapa siswa pada jenjang kelas tinggi, yaitu kelas 5 masih mengalami kendala dalam memahami bacaan dan belum sepenuhnya terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukan kajian terhadap pengalaman mereka dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas 5 SD Negeri Nanjung 01 Kabupaten Bandung, dengan fokus pada tiga komponen utama, yaitu ruang lingkup materi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan teknik penilaian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas 5, dan sampel berjumlah 32 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket berstruktur, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji chi�square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ruang lingkup materi pembelajaran telah mencakup berbagai jenis teks yang relevan dengan kehidupan siswa, namun masih memerlukan pengayaan pada teks kontekstual. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru bersifat variatif dan partisipatif, tetapi penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi belum optimal. Teknik penilaian sudah memuat penilaian formatif, namun pemanfaatan rubrik dan umpan balik perlu ditingkatkan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran cenderung positif, namun terdapat aspek yang dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia semakin fleksibel, bermakna, dan selaras dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Indonesian language learning in the Merdeka Curriculum plays a crucial role in strengthening students’ literacy skills at the elementary level, particularly in listening, reading, speaking, and writing in an integrated manner. Findings at SD Negeri Nanjung 01 indicate that several students in the upper grades, particularly grade 5, still face difficulties in comprehending reading materials and are not yet fully engaged in the learning process, thus a study is needed to examine their experiences in participating in the lessons. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of the Indonesian language learning process in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum for Grade 5 at SD Negeri Nanjung 01, Bandung Regency, focusing on three main components: the scope of learning materials, teaching methods, and assessment techniques. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population consisted of all Grade 5 students, with a sample of 32 students selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and the chi-square test. The findings indicate that the scope of learning materials covered various text types relevant to students’ lives, although further enrichment with contextual texts is needed. The teaching methods applied were varied and participatory, yet the implementation of differentiated instruction has not been fully optimized. Assessment techniques included formative evaluation, but the use of rubrics and constructive feedback requires improvement. Overall, students’ perceptions of the learning process were generally positive, although certain aspects could be further developed to make Indonesian language learning more flexible, meaningful, and aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.
