Abstract
Dalam pendidikan, berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting pada proses pembelajaran. Keterampilan ini pada akhirnya mendorong lahirnya generasi yang lebih siap untuk berkontribusi secara positif di masyarakat dan mampu bekerja sama dengan orang-orang dari berbagai latar belakang budaya serta keahlian yang berbeda untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Namun, kenyataanya keterampilan berpikir kritis pada siswa sekolah dasar masih rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat berdampak pada hasil pencapaian akademik siswa. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum sepenuhnya membiasakan siswa untuk berpikir kritis dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching pada pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila terhadap berpikir kritis siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dengan nilai signifikan (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05. Kemudian, dilaksanakan uji independent sample t-test dengan nilai signifikan (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. ------------ In education, critical thinking is a crucial skill in the learning process. This skill ultimately fosters a generation that is better prepared to contribute positively to society and is able to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and expertise to face future challenges. However, in reality, critical thinking skills among elementary school students are still low. This low critical thinking ability can impact students' academic achievement. This indicates that the learning methods and approaches applied have not fully accustomed students to critical thinking in solving problems. This study aims to determine the effect of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in Pancasila education learning on the critical thinking of fifth-grade elementary school students. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significant effect with a significance value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. Then, an independent sample t-test was conducted with a significance value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning there is a significant difference between critical thinking abilities in experimental class students and control class students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design.
