Abstract
ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE TEAM ASISSTED INDIVIDUALIZATION DALAM MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA BERBASIS PEMBELAJARAN PROYEK TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA (Studi Kuasi Eksperimen Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta) Pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa (student centered) merupakan indikator keberhasilan proses belajar. Jika proses pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru (teacher centered) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tujuan pembelajaran belum tercapai dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model team assisted individualization terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila Berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatakan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Desain. Populasinya adalah peserta didik kelas VIII-A (Kelas Eksperimen) dan Kelas VIII-C (Kelas Kontrol). Pengumpulan data dalam bentuk tes pilihan ganda uraian dan angket. Data diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitasi, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t. Temuan penelitian menunjukan hasil yaitu; (1) hasil tes awal hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperiemen dan kelas kontrol memiliki kondisi awal yang sama; (2) hasil tes akhir hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, hal ini karena kelas eksperimen menggunakan model team assisted individualization sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model Inquiry Learning; (3) persepsi siswa terhadap pelaksanaan model team assisted individualization direspon baik oleh dan positif; (4) terdapat perbedaan hasil tes akhir antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model team assisted individualization dengan kelas yang kontrol yang telah diberikan perlakuan. Dengan Demikian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa model team assisted individualization berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Kata Kunci : Model Team Asissted Individualization, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Pendidikan Pancasila ABSTRACT THE IMPCAT OF TEAM ASISSTED INDIVIDUALIZATION COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ON STRUDENT’S CRITICAL THINGKING IN THE PROJECT-BASED PANCASILA EDUCATION (A Quasi-Experimental Study in Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta) Student-centered learning is widely recognized as a key indicator of effective instructional practices. Conversely, when instruction remains teacher-centered, it suggests that the intended learning outcomes have not been fully achieved. This study investigates the impact of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model on students’ critical thinking skills within the context of project-based Pancasila Education. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Non-equivalent Control Group Design, the research involved two groups of eighth-grade students: Class VIII-A (Experimental Group) and Class VIII-C (Control Group). Data were collected through multiple-choice essay tests and student perception questionnaires, and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The findings indicate the following:(1) There were no significant differences in the pre-test scores between the experimental and control groups, indicating comparable baseline conditions; (2) The post-test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group, attributed to the implementation of the model, while the control group utilized a Inquiry Learning model;(3) Students demonstrated positive perceptions toward the use of the team assisted individualization model in the classroom; (4) A statistically significant difference was observed in post-test outcomes between the two groups, confirming the effectiveness of the team assisted individualization model. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Team Assisted Individualization model has a positive and significant impact on enhancing students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education.
