Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari tradisional di SD Negeri 212 Harapan. Fokus kajian meliputi enam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yaitu: beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berakhlak mulia, berkebinekaan global, gotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari tradisional di SD Negeri 212 Harapan secara efektif mendukung penguatan seluruh dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Dimensi beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia ditumbuhkan melalui pembiasaan berdoa, sikap sopan santun, dan penghargaan terhadap nilai-nilai budaya. Dimensi berkebinekaan global tercermin dari pengenalan ragam tari nusantara dan interaksi lintas latar belakang siswa. Dimensi gotong royong berkembang melalui kolaborasi dalam latihan, kepedulian terhadap teman, serta pembagian tugas secara sukarela. Dimensi mandiri terlihat dari inisiatif siswa berlatih dan mengatur perlengkapan secara mandiri. Dimensi bernalar kritis terbentuk melalui kegiatan diskusi, evaluasi penampilan, dan pengambilan keputusan bersama. Sementara itu, dimensi kreatif berkembang lewat keterlibatan siswa dalam mengusulkan ide gerakan, kostum, dan variasi penampilan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari tradisional bukan hanya menjadi wadah pengembangan bakat seni, tetapi juga sarana strategis dalam membentuk karakter siswa secara holistik sesuai nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar sekolah terus memfasilitasi dan mengembangkan program seni tari tradisional dengan strategi yang lebih inovatif, sehingga pembentukan karakter siswa dapat berlangsung secara berkelanjutan dan optimal. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile character through traditional dance extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 212 Harapan. The focus covers six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile: faith in God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and descriptive conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that traditional dance extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 212 Harapan effectively support the strengthening of all dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. Faith in God Almighty and noble character are nurtured through prayer habits, politeness, and respect for cultural values. Global diversity is reflected in the introduction of various Indonesian traditional dances and interactions among students from diverse backgrounds. Mutual cooperation develops through collaboration in practice, care for peers, and voluntary task sharing. Independence is evident from students’ initiative to practice and prepare equipment on their own. Critical thinking emerges through discussions, performance evaluations, and joint decision-making. Meanwhile, creativity grows through students’ involvement in suggesting dance movements, costumes, and performance variations. In conclusion, traditional dance extracurricular activities serve not only as a platform for developing artistic talent but also as a strategic medium for shaping students’ character holistically in line with the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. It is recommended that schools continue to facilitate and enhance traditional dance programs with more innovative strategies to ensure sustainable and optimal character development.
