    Abstract

    Program Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) menghadirkan program magang untuk memperkuat kompetensi lulusan, baik hard skills maupun soft skills, melalui pengalaman kerja nyata. Meskipun Program MBKM dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan kompetensi yang relevan dengan dunia kerja, implementasinya di lapangan masih menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara kompetensi yang diperoleh selama magang dengan mata kuliah yang dikonversi ke dalam SKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan angkatan 2021 mengenai kesesuaian posisi magang dengan profil kompetensi lulusan serta relevansi hard skills dan soft skills yang diperoleh dengan capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah hasil konversi. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah 95 mahasiswa, seluruhnya dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berskala dikotomi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa menilai posisi magang sudah sesuai dengan profil kompetensi lulusan. Persepsi terhadap relevansi hard skills dan soft skills dengan capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah yang dikonversi berada pada kategori tinggi, meskipun terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian pada aspek tertentu. Kesimpulannya, mahasiswa secara umum memiliki persepsi positif terhadap relevansi kompetensi magang dengan konversi SKS, namun perbaikan masih diperlukan dalam penyelarasan kurikulum dan mekanisme konversi. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya evaluasi berkala terhadap proses konversi SKS magang, peningkatan koordinasi antara program studi dan mitra magang, serta penyesuaian kurikulum agar lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan dunia kerja. The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program offers internships to strengthen graduates’ competencies, both hard skills and soft skills, through real work experience. Although the MBKM Program is designed to equip students with competencies relevant to the labor market, its implementation in practice still reveals a gap between the competencies acquired during the internship and the courses that are converted into credits. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of Educational Technology students from the 2021 cohort regarding the alignment between internship placements and graduate competency profiles, as well as the relevance of the hard skills and soft skills acquired to the learning outcomes of the converted courses. The method used was a survey with descriptive data analysis. The research population consisted of 95 students, all of whom were included as samples through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a dichotomous-scale questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results show that the majority of students perceived their internship placements as being aligned with the graduate competency profiles. Perceptions of the relevance of hard skills and soft skills to the learning outcomes of the converted courses were in the high category, although some discrepancies were found in certain aspects. In conclusion, students generally held positive perceptions of the relevance between internship competencies and credit conversion, though improvements are still needed in curriculum alignment and the conversion mechanism. The study recommends periodic evaluations of the internship credit conversion process, enhanced coordination between study programs and internship partners, and curriculum adjustments to be more responsive to labor market needs.
