    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berjudul “Representasi Nilai Nasionalisme Dalam Buku Teks Sejarah Pendamping Kelas XII Kurikulum Merdeka Ratna Hapsari dan M. Adil Terbitan Erlangga Tahun 2024”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai nasionalisme dalam buku teks sejarah pendamping kelas XII SMA/MA Kurikulum Merdeka terbitan Erlangga, alasan pentingnya nilai nasionalisme disajikan dalam buku teks sejarah, dan bagaimana representasi nilai nasionalisme pada peristiwa sejarah dan narasi tokoh sejarah dalam buku teks sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis isi dengan pendekatan kualitatif, tahap penelitian ini yakni Unitizing, Sampling, Recording or coding, Reducing, Inferring, dan Narrating. Melalui penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa, pertama, dalam buku teks sejarah pendamping kelas XII Kurikulum Merdeka terdapat representasi nilai nasionalisme sesuai dengan tujuan mata pelajaran sejarah dalam capaian pembelajaran (CP) Kurikulum Merdeka. Kedua, nilai nasionalisme sangat penting disajikan dalam buku teks sejarah pendamping kelas XII karena nasionalisme menarasikan perjuangan tokoh sejarah dan membangun identitas nasional yang kuat dengan kejadian-kejadian dimasa lalu pada peserta didik. Selain itu, nasionalisme buku teks memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan rasa cinta tanah air dan menumbuhkan kemauan untuk bersatu pada peserta didik dengan mempelajari peristiwa sejarah itu sendiri sesuai dengan tujuan mata pelajaran sejarah yaitu menumbuhkembangkan rasa nasionalisme dan patriotisme. Ketiga, keseluruhan nilai nasionalisme telah ditemukan di dalam buku teks sejarah pendamping kelas XII Kurikulum Merdeka terbitan Erlangga tahun 2024 melalui kalimat-kalimat yang merepresentasikan nilai nasionalisme yang ada. This research is entitled "Representation of Nationalism Values in Companion History Textbooks for Grade XII Merdeka Curriculum Ratna Hapsari and M. Adil Published by Erlangga in 2024". This research aims to describe the values of nationalism in the companion history textbooks for grade XII SMA/MA Merdeka Curriculum published by Erlangga, the reasons why nationalism values are important to be presented in history textbooks, and how nationalism values are represented in historical events and narratives of historical figures in history textbooks. The research method used is the content analysis method with a qualitative approach, the stages of this research are Unitizing, Sampling, Recording or coding, Reducing, Inferring, And Narrating. Through this study, it can be seen that, first, in the accompanying history textbook for class XII of the Merdeka Curriculum, there is a representation of nationalism values in accordance with the objectives of the history subject in the learning outcomes (CP) of the Merdeka Curriculum. Second, the value of nationalism is very important to be presented in the accompanying history textbook for class XII because nationalism narrates the struggle of historical figures and builds a strong national identity with past events in students. In addition, the nationalism of the textbook has an important role in instilling a sense of love for the homeland with history as a story and instilling a willingness to unite by studying the historical period itself in students in accordance with the objectives of the history subject, namely to develop a sense of nationalism and patriotism. Third, all nationalism values have been found in the accompanying history textbook for class XII of the Merdeka Curriculum published by Erlangga 2024 through sentences that represent nationalism values there.
