Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji permasalahan terkait rendahnya partisipasi aktif siswa pada program keahlian MPLB di SMKN 1 Ciamis. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui terkait pengaruh keterampilan komunikasi guru terhadap partisipasi aktif siswa pada program keahlian MPLB di SMKN 1 Ciamis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa program keahlian Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB). Penentuan jumlah sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan jumlah sampel 177 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi guru berada pada tingkat moderat, dengan proporsi yang hampir seimbang antara kategori rendah dan tinggi, sehingga masih terdapat ruang untuk peningkatan efektivitas komunikasi guru di sekolah. Tingkat partisipasi siswa cenderung berada pada level sedang. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif, kuat, dan signifikan antara komunikasi guru terhadap partisipasi aktif siswa. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam skor partisipasi aktif siswa berdasarkan jenjang kelas (X, XI, dan XII). Secara deskriptif, rata-rata skor partisipasi aktif siswa meningkat dari kelas X sebesar 91,73, kelas XI sebesar 107,97, hingga kelas XII sebesar 126,81. This study examines the problem of low students active participation in the MPLB vocational program at SMKN 1 Ciamis. The objective is to determine the influence of teachers communication skills on students active participation in the MPLB vocational program SMKN 1 Ciamis. The method used in this study was quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in this study was all students in the Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) vocational program. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, with a sample size of 177 students. The results of this study indicate that teachers communication is at a moderate level, with an almost equal proportion between the low and high categories. Thus, there is still room for improving the effectiveness of teachers communication at the school. The level of students participation tends to be at a moderate level. There is a positive, strong, and significant influence between teachers communication skills and students active participation. There are significant differences in student active participation scores based on grade level (10, 11, and 12). Descriptively, the average student active participation score increased from 91.73 in grade 10, 107.97 in grade 11, and 126.81 in grade 12.
