Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis masalah budaya organisasi yang ada di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 114 Jakarta serta pemecahan dari masalah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memahami berbagai masalah budaya organisasi yang terjadi di SMPN 114 Jakarta, termasuk penyebab, dampak, serta cara penyelesaiannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melibatkan tiga tahap utama meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan bantuan aplikasi NVivo 15 Pro dala visualisasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masalah budaya organisasi muncul akibat ketidaksesuaian antara nilai yang tertulis dengan praktik sehari-hari, seperti rendahnya kedisiplinan, kurangnya komunikasi, dan lemahnya kerja sama. Masalah ini diperparah oleh kepemimpinan yang belum optimal, sistem evaluasi yang lemah, serta tidak meratanya pemahaman tentang budaya organisasi. Akibatnya, terjadi penurunan semangat kerja dan kualitas hubungan antarwarga sekolah. Upaya penyelesaian dilakukan melalui pendekatan internal yang melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah, mulai dari peningkatan komunikasi hingga pembagian tanggung jawab. Meskipun belum sepenuhnya berhasil, langkah-langkah tersebut menjadi awal perubahan menuju budaya organisasi yang lebih sehat. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya konsistensi nilai, komunikasi terbuka, dan partisipasi bersama dalam membangun budaya organisasi di sekolah. This research analyzes the organizational culture issues at State Junior High School 114 Jakarta and proposes solutions to these issues. The purpose of this study was to understand the various organizational culture issues occurring at State Junior High School 114 Jakarta, including their causes, impacts, and solutions. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, involving three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with the help of the NVivo 15 Pro application for data visualization. The results showed that organizational culture issues arose from a mismatch between written values and daily practices, such as low discipline, lack of communication, and weak cooperation. These problems were exacerbated by suboptimal leadership, a weak evaluation system, and an uneven understanding of organizational culture. As a result, there was a decline in work enthusiasm and the quality of relationships between school members. Efforts to resolve these issues were carried out through an internal approach involving all school members, starting from improving communication to sharing responsibilities. Although not yet completely successful, these steps marked the beginning of a change towards a healthier organizational culture. This study emphasizes the importance of value consistency, open communication, and shared participation in building organizational culture in schools.
