    Abstract

    Di era globalisasi dan digitalisasi saat ini, pendidikan diharapkan mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang kualitas pendidikannya baik. Disamping itu, Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Riset Teknologi (permendikbudristek) Nomor 12 Tahun 2024 pasal 17 menyatakan bahwa peserta didik di Indonesia diharapkan memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMA pada materi gelombang. Metode penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA dengan sampel terdiri dari 59 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 30 kelas eksperimen dan 29 peserta didik kelas kontrol. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan N-gain, uji statistik parametrik, uji dampak, dan persentase respon peserta didik yang menggunakan e-modul multi representasi. Hasil uji kelayakan diperoleh 91,27% dari uji validasi dan 85,54% dari uji coba peserta didik. Hasil perhitungan N-gain diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen adalah 0,56 untuk kemampuan kognitif dan 0,61 untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan kategori sedang. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol, diperoleh nilai N-gain 0,29 pada kemampuan kognitif, dan 0,38 pada keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. In the current era of globalization and digitalization, education is expected to produce students with high-quality learning outcomes. Furthermore, the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbudristek) Number 12 of 2024, Article 17, states that students in Indonesia are expected to possess strong critical thinking skills. This research aims to develop contextual e-module teaching materials to enhance the cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills of high school students in the subject of waves. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method, following the ADDIE development model with five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The population of this research consists of 11th-grade science students in high school, with a sample of 59 students divided into 30 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class. Data analysis was conducted using N-gain, parametric statistical tests, effect size tests, and the percentage of student responses to the multi-representation e-modul. The feasibility test results showed 91.27% from validation tests and 85.54% from student readability tests. The N-gain results obtained in the experimental class were 0.56 for cognitive ability and 0.61 for critical thinking skills in the moderate category. Meanwhile, in the control class, the N-gain values obtained were 0.29 for cognitive ability and 0.38 for critical thinking skills. Statistical tests revealed that there was a significant difference in the improvement of cognitive ability and critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the control class.
