    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berjudul “Implementasi Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah terhadap Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kecamatan Sukasari”. Secara umum tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan kondisi dan mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 56 responden. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Excel dan SmartPLS 4.0. Berdasarkan perhitungan weight mean score terdapat aspek terendah pada kompetensi pedagogik yaitu penilaian pembelajaran, dan aspek terendah dalam variabel supervisi akademik adalah perencanaan supervisi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan menunjukkan nilai R-square sebesar 0.211, P-value sebesar 0.000, hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru. Adapun pengaruh lain yang dapat berperan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman belajar, pengalaman pelatihan, motivasi, dan sarana prasarana. This study, entitled “The Implementation of Principals’ Academic Supervision on Improving Teachers’ Pedagogical Competence in Public Junior High Schools of Sukasari District”, aims to describe the existing conditions and examine the effect of academic supervision on teachers’ pedagogical competence. The research employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires from a sample of 56 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Excel and SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that, based on the calculation of the Weight Mean Score, the lowest aspect of teachers’ pedagogical competence lies in learning assessment, while the lowest aspect of academic supervision is supervision planning. The results of the hypothesis testing show an R-square value of 0.211 and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that academic supervision has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ pedagogical competence. In addition, other factors that may contribute to teachers’ pedagogical competence include educational background, learning experience, training participation, motivation, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure.
