Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan media kartubergambar dan menguji keefektifannya terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi akrostik siswa Sekolah Dasar. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi akrostik antara kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media kartu bergambar dan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media kartu bergambar. Desain yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan metode nonequivalent controligroup design. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V dari dua sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Batujajar, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Data di dapatkan melalui angket, dan test. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji independent sample t-test, dan uji n-gen berbantuan aplikasi SPSS 26 dan excel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) media kartu bergambar sudah di laksanakan dengan baik pada kelas eksperimen, 2) Uji normalitas yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai yang di dapatkan terdistribusikan normal dengan mendapatkan sig dari kolmogorov-Smirnov mendapatkan 0,24 dan 0,10>0,05 maka nilai tersebut di nyatakan normal, 3) uji homogenitas yang menunjukkan kehomogenan nilai-nilai yang di hasilkan siswa yang di distribusikan homogen dengan sig mendapatkan 1,21 > 0,05 maka nilai tersebut dapat dinyatakn homogen, 4) uji independent sample t-test yang akan memperlihatkan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kelas yang sudah dilakukan perlakukan yaitu 0,00 > 0,05 maka dapat dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. 5) uji n-gen menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan nilai rata-ratanya yaitu 36,09% berkatagorikan tidak efektif dan kelas eksperimen rata-ratanya yaitu sebesar 76,61% yang berkatagorikan cukup efektif dari kedua kelas tersebut terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan. Temuan- temuan ini telah membuktikan bahwa media kartu bergambar berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi akrostik. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of picture card media and test its effectiveness on the acrostic poetry writingiskills ofielementary school students. In addition, this study is also to determine and compare the improvement in acrostic poetry writing skills between the control class that does not use picture card media and the experimental class that uses picture card media. The design used in this study is a quasi experiment with the nonequivalent control group design method. Participants in this study were fifth grade students from two elementary schools in Batujajar District, West Bandung Regency. Data were obtained through questionnaires anditests. Data analysis usinginormality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and n-gen test assisted by SPSS 26 and Excel applications. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the picture card media has been implemented well in the experimental class, 2) The normality test shows that the values obtained are normally distributed by getting sig from kolmogorov- Smirnov getting 0.24 and 0.10> 0.05 then the value is stated as normal, 3) the homogeneity test shows the homogeneity of the values produced by students which are distributed homogeneously with sig getting 1.21> 0.05 then the value can be stated as homogeneous, 4) the independent sample t-test which willishow a significant difference to the class that has been treated, namely 0.00> 0.05 then it can be statedithat there is a significant difference. 5) thei n-gen test shows that there is a significant increase in the control class which gets an average value of 36.09% categorized as ineffective and the experimental class average is 76.61% which is categorized as quite effective from both classes there is a significant increase. These findings have proven that picture card media has an effect on improving acrostic poetry writing skills.
