    Abstract

    Aplikasi manajemen peminjaman aset di lingkungan instansi pemerintah sering mengalami waktu muat yang lambat dan penurunan responsivitas pada jam sibuk, yang berdampak pada efektivitas kerja pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja arsitektur Server-Side Rendering (SSR) menggunakan Laravel Blade dan Client-Side Rendering (CSR) menggunakan React.js untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Design Research Methodology (DRM) yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pengembangan, evaluasi iteratif, dan validasi hasil. Data kinerja diperoleh melalui pengujian Core Web Vitals menggunakan Lighthouse serta uji beban sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Laravel memiliki waktu muat awal lebih cepat (FCP: 0,8 detik; LCP: 1,4 detik) dibandingkan CSR (FCP: 2,3 detik; LCP: 6,3 detik), sedangkan React.js unggul dalam responsivitas interaksi. Penelitian ini menegaskan adanya trade-off antara kecepatan muat awal dan interaktivitas sistem. Temuan ini memberikan acuan bagi pengembang dan instansi terkait dalam menentukan arsitektur aplikasi sesuai kebutuhan operasional dan beban sistem. --------- The asset management application within the government environment often experiences slow loading times and reduced responsiveness during peak hours, affecting user efficiency and task completion. This study aims to analyze the performance of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) using Laravel Blade and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) using React.js to address these issues. The research employs the Design Research Methodology (DRM) framework, consisting of planning, development, iterative evaluation, and validation stages. Performance data were collected using Core Web Vitals testing with Lighthouse and system load testing. The results indicate that SSR provides faster initial load times (FCP: 0.8 seconds; LCP: 1.4 seconds) compared to CSR (FCP: 2.3 seconds; LCP: 6.3 seconds), while CSR demonstrates superior interactivity and responsiveness. This study highlights the trade-off between faster initial rendering and better interactive performance. These findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for developers and government agencies in selecting an appropriate architecture based on application requirements and operational loads.
