    Abstract

    Banjir merupakan bencana alam yang sering terjadi di Indonesia dengan tingkat kejadian yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, sehingga diperlukan solusi efektif untuk mitigasi dini. Penelitian berikut bertujuan merancang dan membangun prototipe sistem monitoring aliran sungai berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi mobile guna memberikan informasi real-time mengenai kondisi ketinggian dan aliran air sungai. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode prototipe. Perangkat keras sistem terdiri dari ESP32, sensor AJ-SR04M, sensor waterflow, dan sensor raindrop, sedangkan perangkat lunak menggunakan Firebase IoT Device System Manager (FDSM) dan aplikasi Android sederhana untuk menampilkan data real-time. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe mampu merekam data sensor, mengirimkannya ke server, dan menampilkannya melalui website serta aplikasi Android dengan antarmuka yang mudah dipahami masyarakat. Dengan demikian, prototipe sistem monitoring tersebut dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam mendukung deteksi dini potensi banjir, mempermudah akses informasi, serta membantu upaya mitigasi bencana banjir secara berkelanjutan. --------- Flooding is a natural disaster that frequently occurs in Indonesia, with an increasing incidence rate each year, thus requiring effective solutions for early mitigation. This research aims to design and develop a prototype of a river flow monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT), integrated with a mobile application to provide real-time information on river water level and flow conditions. The method used is the prototype method. The system's hardware consists of an ESP32, AJ-SR04M sensor, water flow sensor, and raindrop sensor, while the software utilizes Firebase IoT Device System Manager (FDSM) and a simple Android application to display real-time data. Testing results show that the prototype is capable of recording sensor data, transmitting it to the server, and displaying it via a website and an Android application with a user-friendly interface. Therefore, the monitoring system prototype can serve as an effective solution for supporting early flood detection, improving information access, and assisting in sustainable flood disaster mitigation efforts.
