    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kreativitas siswa dalam pembuatan karya seni paper quilling dengan memanfaatkan media limbah kertas pada pembelajaran Seni Rupa di kelas V SDN Babakan Asem. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh keterbatasan variasi metode pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar yang belum sepenuhnya mendorong perkembangan kreativitas siswa. Penerapan teknik paper quilling diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Fokus penelitian mencakup empat aspek kreativitas, yaitu kelancaran (fluency), keluwesan (flexibility), orisinalitas (originality), dan kerincian (elaboration). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 20 siswa kelas V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 14 siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata pada rentang 13–16 (kategori sangat baik), 4 siswa memperoleh skor 10–12 (kategori baik), dan 2 siswa memperoleh skor 7 (kategori cukup). Aspek keluwesan memperoleh skor rata-rata tertinggi sebesar 3,65, diikuti kelancaran (3,45), orisinalitas (3,25), dan kerincian sebagai skor terendah (2,7). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran paper quilling berbasis pemanfaatan limbah kertas dapat mengoptimalkan kreativitas siswa, khususnya pada aspek keluwesan dan kelancaran. ; ---------- This study aims to analyze the level of creativity of students in creating paper quilling artworks by utilizing paper waste media in art education in grade V of SDN Babakan Asem. The background of this study is based on the limited variety of art education methods in elementary schools, which have not fully encouraged the development of students' creativity. The application of paper quilling techniques is expected to be an innovative and interesting learning alternative. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research focuses on four aspects of creativity, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The research subjects consisted of 20 fifth-grade students. The results showed that 14 students achieved an average score in the range of 13–16 (very good category), 4 students achieved a score of 10–12 (good category), and 2 students achieved a score of 7 (fair category). The flexibility aspect received the highest average score of 3.65, followed by fluency (3.45), originality (3.25), and elaboration as the lowest score (2.7). These findings indicate that paper quilling learning based on the utilization of paper waste can optimize students' creativity, especially in the aspects of flexibility and fluency.
