    Abstract

    Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai efektivitas media Flashcard dalam meningkatkan penguasaan elemen budaya Sunda anak usia 5-6 tahun. Salah satu komponen penting yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini untuk melestarikan budaya dan membentuk identitas diri anak adalah penguasaan elemen budaya Sunda. Namun, karena keterbatasan metode dan media pembelajaran, banyak anak masih belum mampu mengenali budaya di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain non-equivalent control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 anak kelas B di PAUD Pertiwi yang dibagi menjadi 13 anak kelompok eksperimen dan 11 anak kelompok kontrol yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji t, dan N-Gain. Dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 (5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan penguasaan elemen budaya Sunda meningkat pada kedua kelas, namun peningkatan yang dicapai kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media Flashcard lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan elemen budaya Sunda anak usia 5-6 tahun dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. This study examines the effectiveness of Flashcards in improving the mastery of Sundanese cultural elements among children aged 5-6 years. One of the important components that must be instilled from an early age to preserve culture and shape children's identity is mastery of Sundanese cultural elements. However, due to limitations in learning methods and media, many children are still unable to recognize the culture around them. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consists of 24 children in class B at PAUD Pertiwi, divided into 13 children in the experimental group and 11 children in the control group, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and interviews and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, and N-Gain. With a significance level of 0.05 (5%), the results showed an increase in mastery of Sundanese cultural elements in both classes, but the increase achieved by the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. These findings indicate that Flashcards are more effective in improving the mastery of Sundanese cultural elements among children aged 5- 6 years compared to conventional methods.
