    Abstract

    Pendekatan pembelajaran seni rupa yang digunakan di sekolah dasar masih cenderung bersifat konvensional, tidak interaktif, dan minim variasi, sehingga berpengaruh pada rendahnya kreativitas siswa. Salah satu alternatif solusi adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada aktivitas langsung siswa (learning by doing), seperti model discovery learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model discovery learning terhadap peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam materi teknik gradasi warna serta menguji perbedaan peningkatan kreativitas antara siswa yang menggunakan discovery learning dan siswa yang menggunakan model demonstration learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan penugasan (penilaian kinerja / performance assessment), dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SD di salah satu kecamatan di Batununggal. Berdasarkan hasil uji paired samples t-test pada kelas eksperimen, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) 0,000 (< 0,05). Dengan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran pembelajaran discovery learning dalam kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran teknik gradasi warna seni rupa dua dimensi. Selain itu, hasil uji Independent Samples t-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,048 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam peningkatan kreativitas antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni rupa. ------- The art learning approach used in elementary schools still tends to be conventional, non-interactive, and lacks variety, thus impacting on low student creativity. One alternative solution is to implement learning that is oriented towards students' direct activities (learning by doing), such as the discovery learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the discovery learning model on increasing student creativity in the material of color gradation techniques and to test the differences in creativity improvement between students who use discovery learning and students who use the demonstration learning model. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach. Data collection techniques through observation and tasks (performance assesment), with research subjects being fourth-grade elementary school students in one of the districts in Batununggal. Based on the results of the paired samples t-test in the experimental class, a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained. With the conclusion that there is an effect of the application of the discovery learning learning model on student creativity in learning two-dimensional art color gradation techniques. In addition, the results of the Independent Samples t-Test showed a significance value of 0.048 (<0.05), which means there is a significant difference in increasing creativity between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that the discovery learning model is effective in increasing students' creativity in fine arts learning.
