    Abstract

    Literasi matematis adalah kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis pada konteks kehidupan sehari-hari atau konteks kehidupan sehari-hari secara matematis dengan indikator kemampuan yang terdiri atas kemampuan memformulasikan masalah matematis, mengaplikasikan matematika ke dalam masalah, dan menginterpretasikan masalah matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan literasi matematis siswa SMP berdasarkan kecerdasan linguistik dan kecerdasan logis matematis dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan dengan desain studi kasus dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 21 orang siswa kelas IX di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Karawang yang diklasifikasikan berdasarkan kecerdasan linguistik dan kecerdasan logis matematis. Teknik pengambilan subjek dilakukan berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi angket kecerdasan linguistik, angket kecerdasan logis matematis, tes soal PISA, dan pedoman wawancara literasi matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif yang terdiri atas reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Uji keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan konjektur yang mengaitkan literasi matematis siswa dan kecerdasan linguistik diindikatori oleh kemampuan formulasi (identifikasi dan modelisasi) dan aplikasi (prosedur dan simbol). Sedangkan konjektur yang mengaitkan literasi matematis siswa dan kecerdasan logis matematis diindikatori oleh kemampuan formulasi (identifikasi dan modelisasi), aplikasi (prosedur dan simbol), dan interpretasi (evaluasi dan tafsir). Mathematical literacy is the ability of students to solve mathematical problems in everyday contexts or everyday contexts mathematically, with indicators of ability consisting of the ability to formulate mathematical problems, employ mathematics to problems, and interpret mathematical problems. This study aims to analyze and describe the mathematical literacy of junior high school students based on linguistic intelligence and logical-mathematical intelligence in solving PISA problems. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study design, involving 21 ninth-grade students from a junior high school in Karawang Regency, classified based on linguistic intelligence and logical-mathematical intelligence. Subject selection was conducted using purposive sampling. The research instruments used included a linguistic intelligence questionnaire, a logical-mathematical intelligence questionnaire, PISA problems, and a mathematical literacy interview guide. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis, which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The validity of the findings was tested using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Research findings indicate a conjecture linking students' mathematical literacy and linguistic intelligence, as indicated by their ability to formulate (identification and modeling) and employ (procedures and symbols). Meanwhile, the conjecture linking students' mathematical literacy and logical-mathematical intelligence is indicated by formulation skills (identification and modeling), application skills (procedures and symbols), and interpretation skills (evaluation and interpretation).
