    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang interaktif dan kurang menarik menjadi salah satu penyebabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Blooket dan Quizizz terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang terbagi ke dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Blooket dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media Quizizz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kelas eksperimen maupun kontrol mengalami peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif setelah pembelajaran. Hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas data menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar awal (Sig. = 0,619) dan kemampuan ranah kognitif awal (Sig. = 0,626) kedua kelas tidak berbeda signifikan. Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar signifikan pada kelas eksperimen kelas kontrol (Sig. < 0,001). Peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif juga signifikan pada kedua kelas (Sig. < 0,001). Selanjutnya, uji Mann Whitney U menunjukkan perbedaan peningkatan motivasi belajar (Sig. < 0,001) dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif (Sig. < 0,001) yang signifikan antara kedua kelas, dengan kelas eksperimen memperoleh peningkatan lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Blooket lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan Quizizz dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV sekolah dasar. -------- This study is motivated by the low motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students in Civic Education learning in Grade IV of elementary school. One of the causes is the use of learning media that are less interactive and less engaging. This study aims to examine the effect of using Blooket and Quizizz media on students’ motivation and cognitive learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects were Grade IV students, divided into two classes: the experimental class using Blooket media and the control class using Quizizz media. The results show that both the experimental and control classes experienced increased motivation and cognitive learning outcomes after the learning process. Tests for normality and homogeneity indicated that initial learning motivation (Sig. = 0.619) and initial cognitive ability (Sig = 0.626) between the two classes did not differ significantly. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test showed a significant increase in motivation in both the experimental and control classes (Sig. < 0.001). Significant improvement in cognitive learning outcomes was also found in both classes (Sig. < 0.001). Furthermore, the Mann Whitney U test revealed significant differences in the increase of motivation (Sig. < 0.001) and cognitive learning outcomes (Sig. < 0.001) between the two classes, with the experimental class showing a higher increase than the control class. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of Blooket media has a greater effect than Quizizz in improving motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students in Civic Education learning in Grade IV elementary school.
