    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Putri Meilia Asmara (2307566) Desain Didaktis Materi Bentuk Aljabar untuk Siswa SMP Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara komprehensif mengenai desain didaktis yang berdasarkan learning obstacle pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) dalam pemahaman konsep pada materi bentuk aljabar. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada penelitian kualitatif dengan Didactical Desain Reseacrh (DDR). Subjek penelitian adalah delapan dari dua puluh satu siswa SMP kelas VII di Lampung yang dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan dapat mewakili learning obstacle pada materi bentuk aljabar. Pemilihan subjek didasarkan pada hasil tes uraian siswa kemudian ditelurusi lebih lanjut dengan wawancara siswa untuk mengidentifikasi secara mendalam learning obstacle yang dialami siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi data yaitu tes tertulis, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami beberapa learning obstacle yaitu ontogenical conceptual obstacle yang disebabkan siswa lupa definisi dari variabel, koefisien, konstanta, suku, dan bentuk aljabar, serta siswa tidak menguasai terkait konsep pemfaktoran, ontogenical instrumental obstacle yang disebabkan siswa salah dalam menghitung perpangkatan terutama ketika terdapat tanda negatif, serta siswa salah dalam mengoperasikan bentuk aljabar dengan sifat distributif, epistemological obstacle yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan pengetahuan siswa dalam memahami konsep bentuk aljabar, dan didactical obstacle yang disebabkan oleh sumber bahan ajar yang belum memadai dan guru yang menggunakan satu buku ajar sebagai bahan utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian learning osbtacle yang teridentifikasi maka disusunlah desain didaktis rekomendasi pada materi bentuk aljabar dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning dalam konteks cerita fabel. ABSTRACT Putri Meilia Asmara (2307566) Didactic Design of Algebraic Form Material for Junior High School Students This study aims to comprehensively describe the didactic design based on learning obstacles in junior high school students (SMP) in understanding concepts in algebraic form material. This study is based on qualitative research with Didactic Design Research (DDR). The subjects of the study were eight out of twenty-one seventh grade junior high school students in Lampung who were selected based on considerations that they could represent learning obstacles in algebraic form material. The selection of subjects was based on the results of student essay tests and then further explored with student interviews to identify in depth the learning obstacles experienced by students. Data collection was carried out through data triangulation, namely written tests, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students experience several learning obstacles, namely ontogenical conceptual obstacles caused by students forgetting the definition of variables, coefficients, constants, terms, and algebraic forms, and students do not master the concept of factoring, ontogenical instrumental obstacles caused by students making mistakes in calculating exponents, especially when there are negative signs, and students making mistakes in operating algebraic forms with distributive properties, epistemological obstacles caused by students' limited knowledge in understanding the concept of algebraic forms, and didactic obstacles caused by inadequate sources of teaching materials and teachers who use one textbook as the main material in the learning process. Based on the results of the identified learning obstacle research, a recommended didactic design was prepared for the material on algebraic forms with a discovery learning model in the context of fable stories.
