Abstract
Pengelolaan sampah yang baik didukung dengan adanya kesadaran yang tinggi pada masyarakat terkait urgensi masalah sampah di lingkungannya. Namun, sayangnya saat ini belum semua sekolah dapat menerapkan pembelajaran yang menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang mampu melestarikan lingkungan, banyak peserta didik yang membuang sampah sembarangan seperti di laci meja, serta tidak melaksanakan piket kelas. Para guru merasa kesulitan dalam menyampaikan materi pengelolaan sampah 3R. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penyediaan informasi yang sesuai sangat penting dilakukan. Sumber yang paling sering diakses peserta didik saat ini untuk mencari informasi yaitu ruang digital, namun platform digital yang menyediakan informasi seputar pengelolaan sampah 3R yang sesuai untuk peserta didik masih sangat minim. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media AR-Ecomaze pada materi pengelolaan sampah 3R di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan desain penelitian ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa, 2 guru, dan 25 peserta didik kelas IV di salah satu SD yang berada di Jl. Desa Cipadung, Cibiru, pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Proses pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Hasil penilaian media oleh ahli media, ahli materi serta ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor dan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Hasil uji coba di sekolah dasar mendapat respons yang positif dari guru dan siswa. Hasil respons dari guru dan siswa mendapat skor dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Dengan demikian, media AR-Ecomaze layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPAS pada materi pengelolaan sampah 3R di sekolah dasar. ---- Proper waste management requires strong public awareness regarding the urgency of waste-related issues in their environment. However, not all schools are currently able to implement learning that prepares human resources capable of preserving the environment. Many students still litter carelessly, such as throwing trash into desk drawers, and do not participate in classroom cleaning duties. Teachers often find it difficult to deliver the material on 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste management. To address this issue, providing appropriate information is crucial. Today, the most frequently accessed source of information by students is the digital space. Unfortunately, digital platforms offering educational content on 3R waste management suitable for students are still very limited. Based on this background, this research aims to design and develop the AR-Ecomaze media for teaching 3R waste management in elementary schools. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D), applying the ADDIE model which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study involved media experts, subject matter experts, language experts, two teachers, and 25 fourth-grade students from an elementary school located on Jl. Desa Cipadung, Cibiru, during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection methods included interviews and questionnaire distribution. The media was rated as "Highly Feasible" by the media, material, and language experts. Trials conducted in the elementary school received positive responses from both teachers and students. Their feedback also categorized the media as "Highly Feasible." Therefore, the AR-Ecomaze media is deemed appropriate for use as a learning tool for the 3R waste management topic in elementary school science (IPAS) lessons.
