Abstract
Pendidikan berperan dalam membimbing generasi yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran terhadap isu lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan penting diintegrasikan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, khususnya pada materi kegiatan ekonomi. Namun, pembelajaran materi kegiatan ekonomi belum optimal karena terbatasnya sumber belajar seperti modul ajar yang mampu membahas materi ini secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar materi kegiatan ekonomi berbasis Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi ahli dan tes menggunakan instrumen angket dan lembar tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan modul ajar yang terdiri dari tiga bab dirancang untuk mengembangkan ranah kognitif, sosio-emosional, dan perilaku siswa. Kegiatan pembelajaran disusun dengan menggunakan metode dan pedagogi berbasis ESD yang relevan dengan materi kegiatan ekonomi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi para ahli, modul ajar ini memperoleh penilaian rata-rata dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan. Sementara itu, uji efektivitas menggunakan rumus N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar ini berada dalam kategori “Sedang”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan modul ajar berbasis ESD efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran materi kegiatan ekonomi. Education plays a role in guiding a generation that is not only academically excellent, but also aware of environmental, social, and economic issues. The principle of sustainable development is important to integrate in order to achieve these goals, especially in economic activity materials. However, learning economic activity materials has not been optimal due to limited learning resources such as teaching modules that are able to discuss this material comprehensively. This study aims to develop teaching modules for economic activity materials based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD. This study used the Design and Development (D&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Data were collected through expert validation and testing using questionnaires and test sheets. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative analysis. This study produced a teaching module consisting of three chapters designed to develop students' cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral domains. Learning activities were organized using ESD-based methods and pedagogy relevant to economic activity materials. Based on expert validation results, the instructional module received an average rating of “Highly Suitable” for use. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test using the N-Gain formula indicated that the instructional module falls into the “Moderate” category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ESD-based instructional module is effective for use in the learning process of economic activity materials.
