Abstract
Guru memiliki peran penting dalam melakukan deteksi dini tumbuh kembang (DDTK) pada anak usia dini (PAUD). Saat ini, masih banyak guru PAUD yang masih belum terpapar mengenai stimulasi tumbuh kembang yang bisa dilakukan di sekolah. Padahal, pemahaman guru PAUD tentang DDTK sangat berdampak pada optimalisasi stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak di masa pra sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan guru tentang DDTK di taman kanak-kanak Kecamatan Bandung Kidul, Kota Bandung. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah guru taman kanak-kanak (N=67). Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling (n=67) menggunakan metode survey. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan guru tentang DDTK yang sudah valid dan reliabel. Seluruh data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru taman kanak-kanak (53,7%) memiliki pengetahuan tentang DDTK dalam kategori sedang dan 46,3% lainnya guru memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, guru memiliki kecenderungan untuk memiliki pengetahuan tentang DDTK yang sedang. Pemberian pendidikan kesehatan maupun penyuluhan mengenai stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak dinilai akan lebih maksimal jika disertai dengan penggunaan media, agar lebih mudah dipahami oleh guru. Teachers are essential in detecting early childhood growth and development. Many teachers still need to be exposed to the stimulation of growth and development that can be done at school. The understanding of teachers about detecting early childhood growth and development significantly impacts optimizing the stimulation of growth and development of children in the pre-school period. This study aims to determine teacher knowledge about detecting early childhood growth and development in kindergartens in Bandung Kidul District, Bandung City. The research design uses a quantitative descriptive. The study population was kindergarten teachers (N=67). The sampling technique used total sampling (n = 67) using a survey method. Data was collected using a valid and reliable teacher knowledge questionnaire about detecting early childhood growth and development. All data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented as a frequency distribution table. The results showed that most kindergarten teachers (53.7%) had moderate knowledge about DDTK, and 46.3% had high knowledge. This study concludes that teachers tend to have moderate knowledge of DDTK. Providing health education and counselling regarding stimulating children's growth and development will be maximized if accompanied by media use to make it easier for teachers to understand.
